Who operates this site
Triquane (triquane.eu) is a static informational website covering origami geometry and folding patterns. It is operated from Poland.
Data collected automatically
Like most web servers, the server hosting triquane.eu records standard access log data when pages are requested: the requesting IP address, date and time of the request, URL requested, HTTP status code returned, and the referring URL and browser user-agent string where provided by the browser. This data is used solely for server security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not shared with third parties and is deleted on a rolling basis.
Contact form
The contact form on the About page collects a name, email address, optional phone number, and message text. This site operates as a static front-end: form data is not transmitted to any server or stored in any database. The form operates as a client-side simulation to acknowledge your input. No personal data from the form is retained, transmitted, or processed beyond the browser session.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses localStorage (not cookies in the traditional sense) to record your response to the cookie-consent banner. The stored value is a single key (triquane_cookie_consent) holding either accepted or rejected. No other data is written to local storage. No third-party tracking cookies are set.
Third-party content
Images on this site are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). Loading these images causes your browser to make a request to Wikimedia's servers, subject to the Wikimedia Foundation's own privacy policy at foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Privacy_policy.
Google Fonts is used for the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Loading fonts causes a request to Google's servers, subject to Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you prefer not to load Google Fonts, your browser's network request blocking tools can prevent these requests; the site will fall back to system fonts.
Your rights under GDPR
As a resident of the European Union (including Poland), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding any personal data processed about you. Given that this site does not retain any personal data beyond server access logs (which are not linked to identifiable individuals in processed form), there is minimal personal data to exercise rights over. For questions about the server access logs or any other data matter, use the contact form on the About page.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision date. Substantive changes will not be made without a corresponding date update.
